Your questions, our answers

No, it is open to everyone: our guests, passing visitors, and local residents. Come whenever you like.

Yes, entirely. Sharing our corner of Andalusia is part of our hospitality.

No need: stop by around check-in (3 PM) and check-out (12 PM) times, or just send us a message.

The village of Arenas is a small Andalusian village and does not have an official tourist office. The closest one is in Vélez-Málaga, about a 20-minute drive away. This is exactly why we opened our information point at Casita Sierramaris: to share our best addresses and advice on Axarquía with travelers and visitors, in a warmer atmosphere than a traditional counter.

Axarquía is best discovered slowly, at your own pace. Mornings are ideal for hiking or Nordic walking to avoid the heat, afternoons for exploring white villages like Frigiliana or Cómpeta, and late afternoons for enjoying seaside terraces. Be sure to taste the local olive oil and sweet wines of the region, and don't hesitate to ask us for our favorite spots when you arrive.
